General Statement

It is the policy of First Touch Training Ltd to comply with the terms of the Health and Safety act at work act 1974 and to create a healthy and safe working environment for all persons who may be affected by its activities

The Health and Safety objective of the company is to minimise the number of instances of occupational accidents and illnesses and to achieve an incident free environment by:

• Promoting a Health and Safety culture
• Ensuring that systems, procedures and working equipment are of the highest standard to minimise risk to others
• Communicating our attitude and procedures to all learners before the start of any work together
• Working to continuously improve and promote health, safety and welfare to learners, delegates and employees

The management of the company recognises and understands its responsibility to ensure the company's equipment, materials, procedures and systems are made as safe as is reasonably possible.  To achieve this, we operate a policy of careful and ongoing planning, organisation and monitoring of all matters relating to Health and Safety

With work undertaken exclusively on privately owned or client sites we ensure we work closely with the owners of those sites and our clients to ensure we follow the procedures and systems put in place by them regarding Health and Safety including the reporting of accidents
